Q: Do you host events for the LGBTQ+ community?
A: Yes, we also host events for our LGBTQ+ members.
Q: Any age requirement?
A: All members must be 20+ to apply.
Q: Where is Cherry Club currently available?
A: We are currently in Malta.
Q: What makes you different from other speed dating events?
A: All of our members are handpicked based on common preferences and lifestyle. We maximise your chances to meet people matching your preferences. Plus, our events are hosted at some of Malta’s most exclusive venues. We bring the right energy, every time.
Q: Do you have an app?
A: No. We’re off the apps. We started Cherry Club with the intention to allow authentic human interaction. No more swiping, just connecting.
Q: How do I know when I will be invited at an event?
A: Our events are exclusive and are dedicated to a group with common preferences and lifestyle. As soon as your profile is suitable for one of the coming events, you will get an invitation.
Q: How do I hear about invitations?
A: Event invites will be sent to suitable members via email. Be sure to secure your spot quickly as they fill fast.
Q: How long do I need to wait till I will be invited at an event?
A: This is very subjective. It will ultimately depend on 2 factors: your personal preferences and others’ preferences. Whenever there is enough room for common interests, you will be invited.
Q: Is it possible I will never be invited at an event?
A: Yes, it is possible. Our events are selective in nature and are the result of the intersection of common interests and preferences. We don’t want to waste anyone’s time: we will not invite you at a specific even if there is nothing in there for you and/or if you cannot offer what others are looking for.
Q: How often are events held?
A: Currently, events are held once or twice a month.
Q: Which days of the week are events held and what time?
A: Generally, the events are held during the week (Monday-Friday) in the evening.
Q: Where do you host events?
A: Our event spaces are rotating. Generally, we are in the central area of Malta. Want to host an event? Inquire at info@cherryclubmalta.com.
Q: Do you have a dress code?
A: No. But ask yourself: how would you dress to a first date? Probably you would not wear flip flops, right? With smart casual you cannot go wrong.
Q: What’s included at a Cherry Club event?
A: Beside from the interesting and selected people you will meet, each event comes with a few drinks or open bar generally.
Q: Can I bring a friend with me?
A: No. All attendees must be members of Cherry Club and purchase an event ticket to be invited.
Q: Am I going to see the same people at each event?
A: We keep track of which members have met each other. So, we will do our best to make this as unlikely as possible.
Q: How do I ensure my privacy at an event?
A: Our members adhere to a strict privacy policy. Members are not allowed to take photos or post/mention any other members during any event, unless given permission. We collect phones at the beginning of your dates and return them when finished. The event location will be disclosed only to the members that have purchased a ticket.
Q: What happens during speed dating?
A: You’ll have 15 minutes to arrive, come inside, and grab a drink at the bar. During this time, we’ll give you a quick explanation of what to expect that evening. We ask women to sit down first, and then men will join. You then will have 5-7 minutes to get to know the person sitting across from you. Once the buzzer sounds, men will stand up and rotate. After the end of the event, we will pass out cards for you to mark your top three members. Those cards are handed to us on your way out. If there’s a match, we will facilitate the connection.
Q: I liked someone I met at an event. Now what?
A: Something great about our event is that we do the connecting for you. If you and someone pick each other, then we will match you via email. We do not distribute physical addresses or other personal information, only email addresses.
Q: What if I’m late to an event?
A: We will hold the doors for the first 15 minutes of an event. Once doors are closed, the event has started, and you will not be permitted. Late attendance and no shows do not receive a refund.
Q: What if I purchased an event ticket but I cannot attend an event anymore?
A: Please email info@cherryclubmalta.com. We will issue a refund if your request is 48+ hours before the event. Any cancellation within 48 hours of an event will not receive a refund.

Q: What is your privacy policy?
A: Your application and membership details are fully confidential and will not be shared with anyone. We will only share email addresses to connect you to your match. We do not sell your information to third parties, or answer inquiries regarding the attendance or participation of any participant to our events. We would only provide such information to the local authorities upon legal request motivated by good reason, example for the safety of our participants.
